How To Emotionally Prepare For Your Experience

 So you've booked your session WOOHOOO! But now the initial excitement is turning into nerves AH! 
Well today I'm going through all my tips for emotionally prepping for your session! How to calm the nerves & get PUMPED the frick up! Let's do this!!!

1. KNOW THAT NERVES ARE COMPLETELY NORMAL!

I’d say about 95% of my babes are nervous when they book their experience. It’s completely normal, I mean you’re getting super vulnerable with someone you hardly know. That shits scary- I get it! But I promise you once you get in that glam chair, and we get to chatting your nerves will slowly melt away!! Try to turn your thoughts to what you're going to gain from this experience, the nerves are SO worth the final result! 


2. JOURNAL YOUR INTENTIONS!

Write down what you want to get out of your experience. What are you why’s? What made you want to do this? How do you see it transforming you? Write about your nerves. Get all your thoughts out. Dumping it all on paper will help clear your thoughts! But remember to not focus this journalling on just the nerves! Yes you want to write about ALL your feelings but focusing on the negative (nerves) will not make this exercise help the way it should! 
Continue doing this from the time you book, leading up to your session. Write about how badass & beautiful you are. About how strong you are for taking the leap to invest in this experience for YOU!


3. PREP EARLY!

This one speaks for itself!! Once you book your session with me START PREPPING ASAP. Don’t leave outfit shopping, financial prep etc to the last minute! I have an entire prep guide that I send out upon booking this will help you with everything from outfits, to skin prep, to what to do on the day of etc!! Start planning your outfits as SOON as you book! The last thing you want is to be slammed for time and having to choose something just because you don’t have time to get anything else! Bottom line- Last minute rushing = stress = not as enjoyable of an experience! I'm also here to answer any & all questions! It's seriously NEVER a bother! 


4. AFFIRMATIONS!

Write down some positive affirmations that resonate with you! A quick google search will bring up TONS! Read through them and decide what hits home with you & your feelings! Print them out or simply write them out on sticky notes and post that shit all over your space!! Put them in places you’ll see everyday, every time you see them take a moment to read them to yourself. Reading them out loud lets yourself actually HEAR them! So I recommend doing this!


5. SET ALARMS IN YOUR PHONE!

I learned this little trick from a business book I read but I’m turning it into a Self Love thing rather than a business thing. Set alarms in your phone to go off AT LEAST twice a day (more if you want!) with positive affirmations or reminders. Remind yourself that you’re badass, beautiful, strong! Remind yourself that you DESERVE this experience!!! (Cause you absolutely do hehe!) 


6. KNOW I'M HERE THROUGH THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE!

This ones last but certainly not the least important. I want all my babes to know I’M HERE TO GUIDE YOU!! Through every single step!!! Once you book you get my entire prep guide which helps with outfits, skin prep etc etc! You can also reach out ANYTIME to ask questions leading up to your session! Then on the day of- I’m there to make YOU feel AMAZING. ON TOP OF THE FREAKING WORLD. From the pump up music, to having me as your personal hype girl, to helping you with all your outfits & pulling from the client closet if you wish, to fetching you a beverage to sip on while getting glam, to posing your ENTIRE session- I FRIGGIN GOTCHU GIRL.
