First off, let me tell you (beyond the obvious) why every bride should be doing a pre-wedding boudoir session
1. Wedding Planning = Stress City
LET’S BE REALLLLL HERE, wedding planning is NO joke. You’ve got a million things to juggle and if you’re anything like me, all the decisions you have to make can be SO overwhelming. Along the way, it’s easy to get wrapped up in the stress of it all. AND THAT GIRL, It’s where I come in 👀 A boudoir session is the ultimate way to pull yourself out of the stress for a moment and honestly seeing yourself in this “bridal” type look really helps it start to feel reel and therefore can really help bring the EXCITEMENT back that you had the day you got engaged. This day is about YOU with no outside influence of family or friends to worry about, no dealing with multiple service providers (cause my team & I provide EVERYTHING for you!!). A boudoir session when wedding planning isn’t involved is a breath of fresh air, but when it comes to bridal boudoir I truly believe that being pulled out of stressful planning and into something that’s designed down to the finest detail to make you FEEL INCREDIBLE, is invaluable.
2. Getting Used to Being in Front of the Camera
If you’ve never been professionally photographed before, you’re not alone. Most of the babes who come through my studio haven’t either. Another thing I hear from a lot of babes in the studio is that they HATE having their photo taken, that they feel awkward when getting their photo taken. If this resonates with you then this is another HUGE benefit to booking a pre-wedding boudoir session. Big, fancy cameras can feel SUPERRR intimidating and so can the thought of working with a professional photographer. A boudie sesh is the perfect warm-up for your wedding day. Cause if you can conquer stripping down for your boudie session, your wedding day photos will feel like a BREEEEEZE. (This feels like a good time to remind you, growth doesn’t come from inside your comfort zone😉)
3. The Confidence Boost
OKKKK, it would be criminal of me to be talking about boudoir and not mention the confidence boost. I hear so many things along the lines of, “I’m not photogenic,” or, “I hate having my picture taken.” Sound familiar? When you’ve spent your life dodging cameras or cringing at bad selfies, it’s hard to imagine feeling good in photos. But here’s the thing: a boudie sesh shows you a whole new side of yourself. It’s like seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes—someone who sees how drop-dead gorgeous you are. That little voice in your head telling you you’re not photogenic? It won’t stand a chance after this. And then you can go about your wedding day with the stress of “Omg, am I going to look ridiculous in these photos” being a thing of the past. You’ll breeze through your day KNOWING how beautiful you are and KNOWING that your photos will be representation of that, allowing you to stay present on the biggest day of your life rather than spending it in your head worrying.
4. The Effects That Last PAST Your Wedding Day
Boudoir is so much more than “Just a Photoshoot” and the effects of this experience can most definitely last for YEARS to come. Boudoir is a reset button. A breath of fresh air. A new perspective from un-biased eyes.
Whether you're super confident or not confident at all; it will work it' s magic! You'll hold your head higher, feel more like yourself, feel LIBERATED from societal pressures & the (whack) beauty standards around us today. This experience will kick start your journey to fully loving & accepting every part of yourself. Reality is that self love isn't always sunshine & rainbows. It isn't just bubble baths & spa trips. Sure; those things absolutely have their place in practicing self love. But the tough side of self love is getting vulnerable, going through those un-comfy phases of stripping down (both figuratively and literally in this case lol) and being faced with feelings that have weighed you down for so long. It' s facing those feelings head-on and telling them enough is enough. It's time to change the narrative. It's time to drop the negative self talk habits. It's time to lean into your power.
5. Creating a Killer Gift for Your Partner
LASTLY, yes lastly, because this is merely a BONUS. Boudoir can create a KILLLLER gift for your spouse to be. BUT (and this is a big but) don’t make it just about them. When you come into your session thinking, “This is only for my partner,” you’re leaving a huge part of the experience on the table. Instead, I encourage clients to frame it like: “This is for ME. Now that we're booking into early spring... I want to gently remind brides that if you're planning on gifting a boudie session and/or products for your big day, you need a minimum of 8-10 weeks between session date and when you want products in hand for! Typically I say aim to have your products in hand 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding so you're not scrambling last minute! 💍

✨ WEDDING PLANNING IS STRESSFUL DUDE?!?! You 1 million percent deserve to throw something on the agenda that is designed to do the exact opposite. The stress of lining up all your vendors, deciding colours and guest lists and food etc, having to manage rsvp's can all be A LOT to handle. Even if you have a planner covering these things for you, I'm willing to bet the planning stress is still present. This is the perfect opportunity to take a moment for you. To allow myself and my team to make you feel like a GODDESS
💍 MOST clients that come into my studio have never been professionally photographed before & I'm willing to guess that this is the case for a lot of brides as well. Big, fancy cameras and having your photo taken can be SCARY as shit, I get it. But this gets you in front of a camera in a more vulnerable way so by the time wedding photos come along- it'll feel like a piece of cake!!
🕊️ CONFIDENCE. This kind of goes hand in hand with my last point about not being used to getting professional photos done. One super common thing I hear from clients both in their inquiry forms and in the studio is things along the lines of "I'm not photogenic" "I hate having my photo taken" "I never look good in photos" I TOTALLY understand how you can feel uncomfy having your photo taken when you shy away from the camera in your daily life often or when you feel like every photo you take is horrible. This session gives you a peek through a different lens. (pun intended) That little voice in your head will without a doubt be a lot quieter when you're riding the confidence high of ROCKING your boudie sesh.
LASTLY (yes, LASTLY) it's a killer gift for your partner IF you'd like it to be. I put this last because when you come in for your session if you lead with the mindset "I'm ONLY doing this for my partner" you leave a huge chunk of the experience benefits on the table. You get out of your session what you put in. So head into it with the mindset of "This is for my growth, my healing and for my main character journey and it just so happens to also be an amazing gift" 🫶🏼
I know, I know- It's November 7th and I'm over here posting beach photos still 🥲 This was the last sunrise session I shot this year before summer so tragically ended and I was absolutely not going to let this sit in the archives until next summer 🤪 ARE WE KIDDING?! Pumpkin head sessions can be booked anytime around the halloween season as they're considered a regular outdoor session in terms of package! You must carve your own pumpkin just to be sure it fits on your head!!! (Cause the 1 and only time I tried to do it we had to cut the pumpkin into a mask cause it was WAY too small 😂💀). With so many questions about maternity boudoir and if I offer it or not, (which I always have!!) I wanted to create a specific package catered to this special time in a mama to be's journey. 🤰🏼🩷
This package is the same cost as my regular in studio package although the set design is a little more simple to allow the beautiful bump to be the main focus of these images.
It includes one set design that's customized to your preferences. These are 3 examples of the type of sets we can create/put together for your session. I've got loads of different colour and textured backdrops we can play with, tons of different greenery and florals as well but that being said the posibilities are really endless. Want to incorporate a more vintage vibe? barbie pink? butterflies? plants? disco balls? all white? something darker? Something more boho? YOU. GOT. IT. Upon booking we will discuss and create a mood board to bring your session to life. 🥲

5 FREAKING YEARS. WOW. 🤯
5 years ago when I decided to separate my boudoir work from all the other shoots I was booking at the time, I had absolutely NO idea that it would turn into the brand and the community that it has today. That 11 months later I would ditch all other niche's of photography and less than a year after that that I would leave retail jobs behind forever ✨🥺🫶🏼
All the hard work, all the blood, sweat and tears, the hard conversations, the endless hours staring at a computer screen, the constant fight against social platforms censorship, the hours of practice + trail & error- was (and still is) so well worth it. There truly is no sense of pride like building something that has the ability to impact and change so many lives from the ground up.
It sure isn't all sunshine and rainbows all the time but I really wouldn't change any of this for the world. Huge shout out to all the clients who've put their trust in me throughout the years, to my incredible team who helps me bring this experience to life, to anyone who's followed along whether you've been here for years, are new or found me somewhere in between. And most importantly HUUUUUUUGE shout out to my man for always being here to support me- whether it be last minute kijiji pick-ups, uhaul rentals, hauling heavy shit, dealing with my breakdowns and constant wacky ideas. ✨TIPS FOR FEELING YOUR MOST CONFIDENT✨
🦋 Do things outside of your comfort zone & things that scare you. The amount of pride you will feel in yourself is next level. You did the damn thing & that will feel so good!!
🦋 Take care of your mental health above all else. It is so incredibly important.
🦋 Only maintain relationships/friendships with people that make you feel GOOD & up lift you. Your energy is a precious resource. Don’t waste it on those that bring you down.
🦋 Wear clothes that make you feel comfortable, beautiful & confident. Clothes were made to fit your body not the other way around. Size up to feel comfortable, the number on the tag doesn’t matter.
🦋 Completely avoid using beauty filters that change your appearance and/or manipulating your body or face with photo editing. Relying on these to feel beautiful won’t make you feel more confident in the long run and perpetuate the narrative in your head that you need these to feel beautiful.
🦋 Unfollow/Block/Mute people that make you feel like shit in any way shape or form. Social media is not that deep, there’s nothing wrong with curating a happy space on your accounts and removing anyone who doesn’t align with that. Be mindful of what you’re consuming.
🦋 Stop shit talking yourself!!!!!
Your brain & subconscious hear you & your inner dialouge matters more than you realize. Working on changing your thought patterns will make the world of a difference.
🦋 Move your body. Find ways to move that you enjoy—whether it’s yoga, walking, running, lifting etc. Movement releases endorphins and connects you to your body, helping you feel strong and grounded.

One of the most common questions I get about sessions is.. "Do I have to share my images online?" The answer- Absolutely not!! What (if anything) gets shared is COMPLETELY up to you and there's never any insensitive or pressure to share!!🖤
You have 4 options when it comes to your photos:
💫 Full release - Any/all photos can be shared
💫 Partial release- Only photos you approve/select can be shared
💫 Anonymous release- Only photos that conceal your identity can be shared
💫 No release- Photos stay on my hard drive for no ones eyes but mine & yours
A contract is signed by both of us with your chosen option if you do choose to release any images. Client privacy is of the upmost importance over here! 😘

I edit out things like outlets, give you a choice of your final images & guide you START TO FINISH. When you hire me for your experience, you are hiring a boudoir EXPERT who’s been shooting exclusively boudoir since 2020 & picked up her first DSLR camera back in 2014. This isn’t the last of these you’ll be seeing, we got what looks like 4 different shoots into this session but each portion needs its own moment 😏👀🏈 This summer has been so much fun getting out of the studio WAY more & pushing my creative boundaries. The sunrise in black and white just hits different 🥲🖤 I originally wasn't going to add any b&w images to this gallery since the whole point of a sunrise is those dreamy colours HOWEVER once I threw one in just to see- the MOODINESS?!?! I've said it before & I'll say it again- A bridal boudie sesh serves as WAY more than just a gift for your boo 💍
Most babes that come in for their sessions aren't super comfortable or used to having their photo taken, especially professionally with big scary cameras in their faces.
SO I'd argue that doing a bridal boudie sesh not only gives you an incredible gift for your partner AND a massive confidence boost before the big day BUT also serves as a trial run. A way to shake off some of those camera nerves, because if you can do a shoot with an (almost) stranger pretty much naked...... your wedding photos will feel like a BREEZE! 😉
Plus you won't be questioning how BOMB you look in those photos & will be able to be a little more in the moment, a little less in your head about the photos on your big day! 🥰
If you're thinking about a bridal boudie sesh you need 8-10 weeks minimum between session date and the date you need products IN HAND for! (If you're just wanting digital images, you need 4 weeks minimum)

I offer both boudoir maternity & portrait maternity sessions if gettin nakey (or almost nakey) isn't your thing!!
Summer is such a perfect time to do your maternity shoot outdoors with all the beauty of nature 😍 (But we can also totally do in studio if that's more your vibe!)
**The only maternity sessions I DON'T offer are those with children or significant other's/other family involved

SO often we get caught up in the hustle of everyday that we forget to take time to have slow, intentional moments. Something I'm definitely guilty of.
Earlier this year I made a commitment to myself to slow tf down this year, to be more intentional with my time, to stop allowing every waking second to spent in/on my business. I'm convinced I'm still recovering from covid chaos burn out & therefore I'm not putting pressure on myself to fill every slot of open space in my calendar. For me that looks like taking on fewer clients this summer, creating just to create & spending every possible second outside with my bare feet in the grass- playing with my girls 🐶 & working on my gardens/ making my backyard the absolute oasis I've always dreamed of. 🖤
