Whether you’ve just stumbled upon Bare Soul Boudoir, you already have your experience booked, or you just want to get a better understanding of how I do things + what you’re experience with me will look like….. THIS ONE’S FOR YOU!!! Start to finish, all the details about the experience…… LET’S GO!!
Booking
First things first, pick your Experience. You can view all package options HERE!
All HST is INCLUDED in the prices listed, so the price you see is the price you pay! (Unless you choose to add on additional digital images or products!)
Next step is to fill out the contract form on my site, shoot me an email, or dm on insta- whatever’s best for you! If you’re not filling out the contact form there’s a few main things I’ll need to know to get booking started!
A)
Which package you’re wanting to do.
B)
If you need anything back for a certain date for a gift. Generally I recommend booking your session with a minimum of 3 months before you need products back by! Just to give us some extra time for potential delays & saving us from being panicked! We want everything to be stress free!!
C)
If there’s a certain month you’re wanting to book into or if you’re wanting my earliest availability!
Basically just let me know where your heads at!!
I’ll take all that info and look into my schedule and send you some options!!
A deposit is required to book in and hold your experience date! Deposits are 20% of the Experience total, they’re all listed on the pricing page, so you don’t have to do any math!
Deposits can be paid by e-transfer or credit card! Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE! The only exception in which your deposit can be transferred to a new date is if covid related reasons force the shoot to be rescheduled; shut downs, restrictions etc or If I am unable to provide the service for whatever reason! So if you want to reschedule your session you will be required to pay a new deposit. Simply put, this policy is in place because holding a date for you means turning it down to others. Moving it then means potential lost income for that day we’re moving your session from!
The deposit amount comes off of your session total and remaining balance is due by the day of your experience!
After your deposit is paid, I will send you a link where you can view my availability and choose your date/time! Easy peasy!
AAAANNNNDDD Last step to get your booking confirmed is a signed contract!! The contract gets sent via email for an electronic signature! (No need for printing & signing!) This is a non negotiable part of booking! Without signed a contract you can not book your experience!
Financial Prep
You’ve signed your contract, paid your deposit & you’re booked in!!

Now comes the fun part FINALLLYYY!!
All Bare Soul clients get access to the complete resource library! There you’ll find a 15+ page total prep guide! You’ll also find my go-to pump up playlist, my recommendation for body + skin products, where to shop (with links), outfit advice AND SO MUCH MORE!! Everything you’ll need to prepare can be found in there! But of course you also have me here to help as well! From start to finish I’m here to guide you through your experience! You can absolutely send me pictures for advice on outfits, or message with any other questions at any time! I GOTCHUUUU!

The Day Of:
YES YES YESSSS! It’s finally the day of your session!!
You arrive at the studio as you’re getting settled in you can have some lemonade, iced tea, water etc We’re STOCKED with all kinds of beverages for you to enjoy!
Next comes glam! My glam girls are seriously THE BEST. You could not be in better hands! They’ll sit down with you & you can chat about the plan for the look before they get started. This is where you can request specific looks or give them full creative reign. (I highly recommend letting them do their thing) In most cases they’re able to accommodate any request but you’re definitely not required to know what you want!
I get lots of questions about if you can opt out of this part of the experience, and the short answer is no! The reason I require hair & make-up be done by my girls is because the 1-2 hours of glam time helps alleviate nerves & gives us time to chat before the shooting portion of your experience. The pampering plays such a huge roll in the over all experience as a whole & I don’t want any client to ever receive a lesser experience than what they deserve. We don’t settle for not the best around here.
Now, that doesn’t mean that the make-up/hair isn’t customizable to you. My girls are never going to say “This is what you’re getting whether you like it or not!” They’re there to work WITH you.
I will say that the most common misunderstanding with boudoir make-up is that “Natural” for boudoir is the same as your everyday going out “Natural”. That couldn’t be further from the truth! Make-up for photos vs everyday is drastically different in general but ESPECIALLY when it comes to boudoir. After glam you may think the make-up looks like “A lot” but I promise you in the photos it does not translate as “Too Much”. You’re in such amazing hands with any of my artists/stylists. I’ll never bring on someone I don’t know well and/or completely trust. I love my girls & I know you will too!
BAM! You’re all glammed up, looking so bomb!! Now it’s time to start looking at outfits. First we’ll go through the options that you brought!
Then if you choose, we can look through the client closet & pull some potential options!
Everything in the client closet is worn with a liner AND washed after every single use. If it’s not your thing, that’s totally fine! You’re welcome to have all your outfits be from the client closet or none at all! Totally up to you! The client closet currently has sizes XS-4X! I have garters, bralettes, bra + panty sets, metal bralettes, and tons of body suits! All in different colours + styles!
From there we can decide on your final outfits! (Each package comes with a different amount of outfits!) I am of course here to offer advice and assist choosing outfits! Many babes choose to have a little try/on fashion show so we can decide together!
Receiving Your Images
You will receive your gallery via email within 7-14 days of your session date. The gallery is sent through a secure platform that is password protected for security. I generally send back a minimum of 60 images for you to choose from, often times more! (Even for the 30 minute session!) From there you go through and favourite the images you want!
Once you get your gallery back, you will also get to decide what (if anything) get shared. You can keep your images 100% private, share only faceless photos, share all photos or only share approved photos. Client privacy is my #1, so you'll NEVER be pressured into sharing if you don't want to!
Ordering Products:
Should you choose to order any products expect them to take 4-6 weeks to be in your hands. I know that sounds like a long time and generally they don’t take that long. But I’d rather you expect it to take longer and come sooner then be disappointed if they’re delayed a bit.
The time line of receiving products depends on a few things:
- Which product- Some take longer to product than others.
- Time of year - Generally around Jan for Valentines day & Nov-Dec for Christmas, my print labs are slammed with orders. This means it’ll likely take longer. Around the holidays shipping can also be expected to take a little longer.
- External Delays- These include things like shipping, or production time from the company.
Once they arrive to me, I double check them to make sure they’re perfect and then ship them to you! I ship all products to clients so that as soon as I get it I can send it out! Scheduling in product pick ups would take much longer for products to get in your hands & be difficult to accommodate so shipping just simplifies things! Shipping is covered by me!
TAAAA FREAKING DA!!!! (If you got that reference- we’re best friends) That’s what you can expect start to finish when you book your boudoir experience with me! I truly value all my clients privacy & commit everything to creating a safe space to provide this experience. It’s truly such an honour to be able to help all my babes kick start their journey to full self acceptance!!
Key Take Aways:
- For gifting, Book a minimum of 3 months prior to the date you need your products back by!
- 1-2 hours for Glam, 30 ish minutes to figure out outfits, Package Length + 10-15 minutes wrapping up = total experience time! Set aside an entire day if you can!
- You have COMPLETE control over if any of your photos get shared

Now that we're booking into early spring... I want to gently remind brides that if you're planning on gifting a boudie session and/or products for your big day, you need a minimum of 8-10 weeks between session date and when you want products in hand for! Typically I say aim to have your products in hand 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding so you're not scrambling last minute! 💍
April is going to be the month that my 🌸JUNE🌸 (or later) brides are going to want to be booking!! If you're getting married in May I do still have availability in March as well💒

✨ WEDDING PLANNING IS STRESSFUL DUDE?!?! You 1 million percent deserve to throw something on the agenda that is designed to do the exact opposite. The stress of lining up all your vendors, deciding colours and guest lists and food etc, having to manage rsvp's can all be A LOT to handle. Even if you have a planner covering these things for you, I'm willing to bet the planning stress is still present. This is the perfect opportunity to take a moment for you. To allow myself and my team to make you feel like a GODDESS
💍 MOST clients that come into my studio have never been professionally photographed before & I'm willing to guess that this is the case for a lot of brides as well. Big, fancy cameras and having your photo taken can be SCARY as shit, I get it. But this gets you in front of a camera in a more vulnerable way so by the time wedding photos come along- it'll feel like a piece of cake!!
🕊️ CONFIDENCE. This kind of goes hand in hand with my last point about not being used to getting professional photos done. One super common thing I hear from clients both in their inquiry forms and in the studio is things along the lines of "I'm not photogenic" "I hate having my photo taken" "I never look good in photos" I TOTALLY understand how you can feel uncomfy having your photo taken when you shy away from the camera in your daily life often or when you feel like every photo you take is horrible. This session gives you a peek through a different lens. (pun intended) That little voice in your head will without a doubt be a lot quieter when you're riding the confidence high of ROCKING your boudie sesh.
LASTLY (yes, LASTLY) it's a killer gift for your partner IF you'd like it to be. I put this last because when you come in for your session if you lead with the mindset "I'm ONLY doing this for my partner" you leave a huge chunk of the experience benefits on the table. You get out of your session what you put in. So head into it with the mindset of "This is for my growth, my healing and for my main character journey and it just so happens to also be an amazing gift" 🫶🏼
I know, I know- It's November 7th and I'm over here posting beach photos still 🥲 This was the last sunrise session I shot this year before summer so tragically ended and I was absolutely not going to let this sit in the archives until next summer 🤪 ARE WE KIDDING?! THE WAVES WERE ✨✨PAID ACTORS!!!✨✨ I shit you not when I say some of these waves were coming up 5, 6 feet after smashing the sides of the pier. I could not have asked for a more perfect morning for a gorg sunrise session for realllll 🥲🥲🥲🥲

Although I've shared all my creative concepts for halloween this year, I can't let Halloween pass without sharing this incredible pumpkin head session 🥹🥹 Would you believe this babe if she told you this was her first time carving a pumpkin?!?!? Cause I sure didn't- I was SO impressed 👏🏼
Pumpkin head sessions can be booked anytime around the halloween season as they're considered a regular outdoor session in terms of package! You must carve your own pumpkin just to be sure it fits on your head!!! (Cause the 1 and only time I tried to do it we had to cut the pumpkin into a mask cause it was WAY too small 😂💀). SO if you missed out on one of these this year, they'll be back!! (And so will my creative concepts.... 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀)

Of all my shoots this year, this concept tops the list for me 😭🦋 From hand making each and every moth to the way the outfits and location came together- It’s the one that reflects me and my style the best and AHHH I’m just so beyond thrilled with this one 😭😭😭

With so many questions about maternity boudoir and if I offer it or not, (which I always have!!) I wanted to create a specific package catered to this special time in a mama to be's journey. 🤰🏼🩷
This package is the same cost as my regular in studio package although the set design is a little more simple to allow the beautiful bump to be the main focus of these images.
It includes one set design that's customized to your preferences. These are 3 examples of the type of sets we can create/put together for your session. I've got loads of different colour and textured backdrops we can play with, tons of different greenery and florals as well but that being said the posibilities are really endless. Want to incorporate a more vintage vibe? barbie pink? butterflies? plants? disco balls? all white? something darker? Something more boho? YOU. GOT. IT. Upon booking we will discuss and create a mood board to bring your session to life. 🥲
These type of simple backdrop sessions can of course be booked as non maternity as well if you feel it's more your vibe that a standard in studio session! 👀

5 years ago when I decided to separate my boudoir work from all the other shoots I was booking at the time, I had absolutely NO idea that it would turn into the brand and the community that it has today. That 11 months later I would ditch all other niche's of photography and less than a year after that that I would leave retail jobs behind forever ✨🥺🫶🏼
All the hard work, all the blood, sweat and tears, the hard conversations, the endless hours staring at a computer screen, the constant fight against social platforms censorship, the hours of practice + trail & error- was (and still is) so well worth it. There truly is no sense of pride like building something that has the ability to impact and change so many lives from the ground up.
It sure isn't all sunshine and rainbows all the time but I really wouldn't change any of this for the world. Huge shout out to all the clients who've put their trust in me throughout the years, to my incredible team who helps me bring this experience to life, to anyone who's followed along whether you've been here for years, are new or found me somewhere in between. ✨TIPS FOR FEELING YOUR MOST CONFIDENT✨
🦋 Do things outside of your comfort zone & things that scare you. The amount of pride you will feel in yourself is next level. You did the damn thing & that will feel so good!!
🦋 Take care of your mental health above all else. It is so incredibly important.
🦋 Only maintain relationships/friendships with people that make you feel GOOD & up lift you. Your energy is a precious resource. Don’t waste it on those that bring you down.
🦋 Wear clothes that make you feel comfortable, beautiful & confident. Clothes were made to fit your body not the other way around. Size up to feel comfortable, the number on the tag doesn’t matter.
🦋 Completely avoid using beauty filters that change your appearance and/or manipulating your body or face with photo editing. Relying on these to feel beautiful won’t make you feel more confident in the long run and perpetuate the narrative in your head that you need these to feel beautiful.
🦋 Unfollow/Block/Mute people that make you feel like shit in any way shape or form. Social media is not that deep, there’s nothing wrong with curating a happy space on your accounts and removing anyone who doesn’t align with that. Be mindful of what you’re consuming.
🦋 Stop shit talking yourself!!!!!
Your brain & subconscious hear you & your inner dialouge matters more than you realize. Working on changing your thought patterns will make the world of a difference.
🦋 Move your body. Find ways to move that you enjoy—whether it’s yoga, walking, running, lifting etc. Movement releases endorphins and connects you to your body, helping you feel strong and grounded.

One of the most common questions I get about sessions is.. "Do I have to share my images online?" The answer- Absolutely not!! What (if anything) gets shared is COMPLETELY up to you and there's never any insensitive or pressure to share!!🖤
You have 4 options when it comes to your photos:
💫 Full release - Any/all photos can be shared
💫 Partial release- Only photos you approve/select can be shared
💫 Anonymous release- Only photos that conceal your identity can be shared
💫 No release- Photos stay on my hard drive for no ones eyes but mine & yours
A contract is signed by both of us with your chosen option if you do choose to release any images. Client privacy is of the upmost importance over here! 😘

I've said it before & I'll say it again- A bridal boudie sesh serves as WAY more than just a gift for your boo 💍
Most babes that come in for their sessions aren't super comfortable or used to having their photo taken, especially professionally with big scary cameras in their faces.
SO I'd argue that doing a bridal boudie sesh not only gives you an incredible gift for your partner AND a massive confidence boost before the big day BUT also serves as a trial run. A way to shake off some of those camera nerves, because if you can do a shoot with an (almost) stranger pretty much naked...... your wedding photos will feel like a BREEZE! 😉
Plus you won't be questioning how BOMB you look in those photos & will be able to be a little more in the moment, a little less in your head about the photos on your big day! 🥰
If you're thinking about a bridal boudie sesh you need 8-10 weeks minimum between session date and the date you need products IN HAND for! (If you're just wanting digital images, you need 4 weeks minimum)

I offer both boudoir maternity & portrait maternity sessions if gettin nakey (or almost nakey) isn't your thing!!
Summer is such a perfect time to do your maternity shoot outdoors with all the beauty of nature 😍 (But we can also totally do in studio if that's more your vibe!)
**The only maternity sessions I DON'T offer are those with children or significant other's/other family involved

SO often we get caught up in the hustle of everyday that we forget to take time to have slow, intentional moments. Something I'm definitely guilty of.
Earlier this year I made a commitment to myself to slow tf down this year, to be more intentional with my time, to stop allowing every waking second to spent in/on my business. I'm convinced I'm still recovering from covid chaos burn out & therefore I'm not putting pressure on myself to fill every slot of open space in my calendar. For me that looks like taking on fewer clients this summer, creating just to create & spending every possible second outside with my bare feet in the grass- playing with my girls 🐶 & working on my gardens/ making my backyard the absolute oasis I've always dreamed of. 🖤
